"Tutti Frutti" GF "Deco" piston filler inspired by MB K20

Hope you are all doing well !
The frightening Covid 19 virus is hitting Belgium very hard, and - being 75- we remain in a short of quarantine.
So instead of  going out with my wife, I now spend more time in my shop.   
I had many different “ too short "celluloid parts laying around, so I decided to use them for making a pen..
Below a few pictures of a celluloid  “Tutti Frutti” GF Deco filler I’ve just finished, a tribute to these beautiful celluloids.
Crazy idea, a lot of extra work, and not a real beauty, hence not suited for making more.
I decided to mount  thin white “ mother of pearl "celluloid rings between the various celluloid rings.
Makes the pen looking more “busy", but doing so  one can see the various celluloids more pronounced.
On the cap I’ve used only 3 celluloid rings , since the barrel threads - and the section stop colla r- must remain  in the same ring part.
Doing so one eliminates the risk of shearing the ring connection collars when applying excessive closing force, hence the risk of  breaking the fusing seams.

Hi Francis, lockdown can be a very opportunity to follow our passions and our personal projects. I like this crazy pen and I like your fantasy. From tofay to the next two weeks some places of Italy as my city will going in lockdown so it's a big opportunity for me to follow my crazy ideas and living a lazy time.
