     Pilot nibs with this vent hole shape are more flex.
     Alloy nibs have this vent hole shape to be more flex.
     Pilot gold nibs have the traditional vent hole, or heart hole , but some can be found with the V vent hole.

     In this picture, with some nib sample writing, the flexibility of these nibs can be seen, text is in portuguese, sorry!
